The Chamber of Secrets
« on: September 26, 2012, 04:30:33 pm »
This seems to be something that people are unsure about, or confused about. I'm going to aid you in this confusion. The Chamber of Secrets cannot just be stumbled upon. It cannot be accidently accessed. There are certain conditions that must be met to reach this place.

By canon, only a Parselmouth could end up here, or someone that has been around a Parselmouth enough to here the proper syllables to speak. I'll give everyone a clue. The entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. And you must speak snake. Don't speak snake? You don't belong here.

The other points of entry are through pipes, if you know the schematics of Hogwarts. And can make yourself small enough and bendy enough to make it through them.

Having said this...this room, like the Room of Requirement, should not be assumed to be available. Find out about it's existence. Explore. Be creative. Seek plot to get these things. Yes, I'm urging you all to find your own story! There are many ways to do so. Go forth and prosper.

"Clever got me this far. Then, tricky got me in. Eye on what I'm after. I don't need another friend. Smile and drop the cliche, 'til you think I'm listenin'. Take just what I came for, then I'm out the door again...Lie to get what I came for. Lie to get just what I need. Lie to get what I crave. Lie and smile to get what's mine."
